We aim to send your order out as soon as possible, but we cannot guarantee what day it will be delivered. Please let us know

The courier, currently DHL, delivers Monday to Friday up until 6pm. Saturday deliveries incur a charge of £25 at time of writing. If the courier cannot deliver the package to the address or as stated on the note, should leave a note, but as most things are digital these days, please keep track of your parcel on the Shop app, or use your tracking number on your order. The parcel can then be collected at the depot stated on the note. For smaller parcels, we send with Royal Mail, using either their RM48 or Tracked 48 service.

Fresh Meat - Fresh meat is sent on Wednesdays and Thursdays for next day delivery. The cut-off for delivery for the same week is 11h00 on Thursday. Our packaging is viable for 48 hours. Please make sure there is someone available to receive the parcel as it cannot be returned to the depot.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE UNABLE TO SEND FRESH MEAT TO SOME AREAS OF SCOTLAND, CHANNEL ISLANDS AND NORTHERN IRELAND

Delivery Methods

1 – UK Mainland Standard (Zones A & B) – Delivery (2-5 working days) Shipments normally arrives within 3 working days. We cannot guarantee delivery within this time period. Fresh meats are sent on Wednesday and Thursday for next day delivery.

England, Wales, Lower Scotland

  • Order value of up to £12.00 and less than 2kg = £3.50 pick, pack & delivery sent with Royal Mail
  • Order value of up to £59.99 and between 2kg than 3kg = £5.50 pick, pack & delivery charge
  • Order value of up to £59.99 between 3kg and under 30kg = £6.99 pick, pack & delivery charge
  • Order value of £60.00 PLUS and under 30kg = FREE DELIVERY (UK Mainland Only - Zone A and B)
  • Goods weighing over 30kgs will be charged in £7 increments for every 30kg or part thereof added to your cart weight. = £7 + pick, pack & delivery charge

(Example: 30+kgs = £7 | 60+kgs = £14 | 90+kgs = £28 etc)

2 – Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland (Inverness, Kirkwall, Lerwick, Northern Ireland)

  • Order value under £60 and under 5kg - £5.50 pick, pack & delivery sent with Royal Mail
  • Order value under £60 and between 5kg to 30kg - £15 pick, pack & delivery charge by courier
  • Order value over £60 and under 5kg - FREE pick, pack & delivery sent with Royal Mail

3 – Channel Islands - Country in your address should be Jersey, Guernsey or Isle of Man 

  • Order value under £60 and under 5kg - £5.50 pick, pack & delivery sent with Royal Mail
  • Order value under £60 and between 5kg to 30kg - £15 pick, pack & delivery charge by courier
  • Order value over £60 and under 5kg - FREE pick, pack & delivery sent with Royal Mail

**All time scales are subject to stock levels and selected courier terms and conditions. There will be no deliveries on the Bank holidays. Buy South Africa Online will not be liable for delays due to third party carriers. All orders received after 11:00 Hrs on any given day will only be processed the following working day. “Working Day” means Monday to Friday excluding bank Holidays.

Any purchase of any weight will be delivered as per the chosen delivery service within the UK.

The delivery charge for larger orders will be advised at the time of order confirmation. Larger deliveries to any part of the world can be arranged, at a price to be quoted, place your order through our website in the normal way and we will respond with a fixed price confirmation of your order.

Deliveries are effected by Royal Mail / Business post or by courier service, the mode of delivery is entirely at the companies discretion, generally the decision is made in terms of the size and weight of the order with, smaller orders being delivered by mail and larger orders by courier. Your order confirmation will confirm the mode of delivery to be used.

Our order confirmation will advise of our estimated delivery date.

It is the buyers responsibility to make sure that there is someone available at the delivery address to accept the delivery.

If for any reason the is no one available at the delivery address at the time delivery is attempted all redelivery charges will be for the buyers account. If you have any doubts in this regard please arrange delivery to a business address.

This condition will not be waived under any circumstances, and no cancellation of the order will be accepted if the reason for the cancellation is related to this attempted delivery, in any way whatsoever.

Any delivery date indicated by the company, is an estimate, given by the company in good faith and the company cannot be held liable for any direct or consequential loss or damage suffered by the buyer by a delayed delivery.

While every effort is made to dispatch orders timeously and by the use of professional delivery companies we cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control.
